Badisches Landesmuseum in the palace In the Badisches Landesmuseum in the palace, the Baden state museum, most of the comprehensive collections are shown over three floors and a basement: the prehistoric and early history of the state, Greek, Roman and Oriental art, the chamber of jewels and marvels of the Dukes of Baden, the famous collection of Turkish trophies, and the artistic and cultural history from the Middle Ages to the modern age. > more information	Badisches Staatstheater Since 2007, the Badisches Staatstheater, the Baden state theatre, has been showing a colourful programme for the whole family. At the start of 2003, the exhibition at the Museum in der Majolika was re-installed, and was re-opened on 23 February. The museum, which is housed in the former administrative building of the production site, gives an overview of the work produced by the ducal, later state Majolika factory in Karlsruhe with around 1,000 selected exhibits, from its beginnings in 1901 through to recent years. > more information

Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie \| ZKM The ZKM, the centre for art and media technology, houses two museums: the ZKM \| Museum für Gegenwartskunst, the museum for contemporary art as a "museum for all genres" and the ZKM \| Medienmuseum, the media museum which is devoted in particular to the way in which humans are reacting to the rapid developments in technology.
